Therapy for everyone.

  • A little about my path, passion, and how I work.

I’m a qualified mental health nurse (2006) with over 15 years' experience working with adults, young people, and families across NHS settings, CAMHS, and crisis services.

I founded The Wave Project Dorset in 2015 – now a national surf therapy charity – and have received awards for my contribution to youth mental health.

My passion lies in working directly with people, offering therapy that is compassionate, relational, and grounded in real-life experience.

  • How therapy works with me – and what CAT is all about.

I primarily use Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) – a collaborative, explorative therapy that helps you recognise and change unhelpful life patterns. I also draw from ACT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches to meet individual needs.

Therapy can take place in a calm clinic space, outdoors, or online – depending on what feels right for you.

  • Clients I support and areas of special interest.

I work with adults and young people, especially those navigating trauma, identity, care experience, ADHD, or relationship struggles. Many clients come feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed – and want to better understand themselves and move forward.
